SATURDAY 11TH MAY 2024
DODDER GREENWAY COMMUNITY CYCLE – PEDAL FOR YOUR MEDAL 

We are running a Family Friendly 4KM Community Cycle that starts on the Dodder Greenway at the Carpark opposite the Speaker Connolly, this event will be opened by the Mayor of South Dublin County Council and is completely off-road so safe for all ages.

All Children that participate in the Cycle will be presented with a medal at the end by the Mayor. So come along and join in with the Fun this Saturday 11th May at 11.00am.

Please email activetravel@SDUBLINCOCO.ie to book your place even if it shows no tickets left we have plenty of room.

SUNDAY 12TH MAY 2024
SOFA TO SADDLE 50+

Come join us for an exciting event at our Bike Hub at Collinstown Park Sports Complex! This session is perfect for someone who used to cycle when they were younger and want to this get off the sofa and back onto the saddle.

This 2 hour session will cover the basics of cycling on the road/cycle lanes, dealing with traffic, tricky junctions & roundabouts.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to stay active and socialise with fellow cyclists. Bikes & helmets provided! See you there

WEBINAR ON CYCLING NETWORK

Webinar with Dutch cycling and technology expert Fred van Schoonhoven about Making Cycling Fun. This is for anyone who wants to learn all the tips and tricks of making cycling fun again be that for you, your family or friends. This will be delivered through Teams Online and link sent out once you book a free ticket.

WEBINAR ON BUILDING A CYCLING NETWORK

Webinar with Dutch expert Marco Mulder on Building a Cycling Network. This will be hosted through teams and link will be sent out to everyone that books in a free ticket. Loads of fantastic information to share from Marco if you have an interest in cycling please join us.

FRIDAY 17TH MAY 2024
WOMEN ON WHEELS

Come join us for a fun-filled day of cycling at Collinstown Park Sports Complex. This event is all about empowering women to ride confidently and enjoy the freedom of cycling. This 2 hour session is perfect for women who don’t currently feel confident cycling and want to pick up some useful tips and tricks to navigate traffic, deal with tricky juntions and cycle on roundabout safely

Get ready to meet like-minded women, learn new skills, and explore the joy of biking in a supportive and inclusive environment.

So grab your bike, invite your friends, and get ready to pedal your way to a fantastic time at Women on Wheels. See you there!
