Lucky for some! Dublin cyclists come 13th in the European Cycling Challenge

Over 1,000 Dubliners cycled over 108,000kms to 13th place in the European Cycling Challenge, organised by the National Transport Authority’s Smarter Travel Workplaces programme over the month of May. Public Transport continues to grow share of morning commute trips into Dublin City Centre – at 49.8% of all trips (199,943)

Half of all people travelling into Dublin City Centre in the mornings are now arriving by public transport (bus, rail, Luas) – an increase from 45.9% in 2010.
