Minister for Transport, Tourism & Sport Leo Varadkar today (October 11th, 2012) unveiled the first of 80 new highly advanced double decker buses for Dublin’s bus services through the Government’s capital programme.

Public Transport Minister Alan Kelly has welcomed the new taxi branding signage which will be phased in to Ireland’s taxi fleet from January of next year.

Launched in the Dublin Metropolitan Region on Monday 1st October 2012 and will run for 8 weeks

Increases to monthly and annual tickets across all contracted public transport services provided by Dublin Bus, Iarnród Éireann, Bus Éireann and the Railway Procurement Agency.
