The National Transport Authority’s new online National Journey Planner is now live at TransportforIreland.ie. It helps people plan journeys, door-to-door, anywhere in Ireland, using public transport.
National Survey on people’s travel habits
The National Transport Authority has commissioned Millward Brown to conduct an extensive national survey of people’s day-to-day travel and commuting behaviour. Information will be collected by means of interviews over the April – November 2012 period, and will be used to help plan Irish transport services and infrastructure in the future.
Public Transport, taxis and cycling on the up in Dublin morning peak
Today (March 21) the National Transport Authority published its annual research into numbers of people coming into Dublin City Centre in the morningpeak (7am – 10am): the Canal Cordon Count.
