Luas Cross City Heritage Works across Dublin City
A range of items including statues, street furniture, paving items, bollards and railings have been removed to protect them during the construction project. Whilst they are in storage they are being cleaned and repaired if necessary to the best possible conservation standards.

Employees representing 57 workplaces take part in 2014 cross-border cycle challenge
Annual event encourages regular cyclists to team up with a novice cyclist and clock up points over a three week period. Participants were awarded points for social and leisure cycles with extra points awarded for cycling on the commute.
Grant Scheme Announced for Wheelchair Accessible Taxis (WAVS)
Opening to applicants in early July, the scheme will offer grants, nationwide, of up to €10,000 for the purchase or conversion of a new WAV – and a sliding scale, with lesser monies being available for older cars. Cars older than 6 years will not qualify for grant support under this scheme.
