LONGFORD SCHOOLS ROYAL CANAL GREENWAY CYCLE DAY Each day during Bike Week, secondary schools from Longford will get the opportunity for a class to spend the day cycling the length of Royal Canal Greenway Longford. Students will receive a safe cycling talk before participating in our cycle. CYCLE TO WORK & BIKERS LUNCH DAY Workers will be encouraged to cycle to work. On this day our bikers’ lunch will take place, workers will gather at 1pm to cycle in convoy through Longford Town and onto the Royal Canal Loop before returning to the town. ROYAL CANAL GREENWAY LEISURE CYCLE TOUR Our Royal Canal Greenway Cycle Tour will take recreational cyclists on a guided cycle along the Royal Canal Greenway from Clondra to either Killashee (13K – shorter option) or Kenagh (30K – longer option). Refreshments will be available at the turn points and finish.
