The Advisory Committee on Small Public Service Vehicles (the “Advisory Committee”), commonly referred to as the Taxi Advisory Committee, is an independent body established and operated under the provisions of Section 72 of the Taxi Regulation Act 2013.  Its primary function is to provide advice to the National Transport Authority (the “NTA”) and/or to the Minister for Transport  (the “Minister”), as appropriate, in relation to issues relevant to small public service vehicles and their drivers.

The Advisory Committee comprises a chairperson and 17 ordinary members. The Advisory Committee meets monthly (excluding August and December).

The Department of Transport is interested in hearing from persons wishing to apply for a position on the Advisory Committee on Small Public Service Vehicles (SPSVs).

There are a number of vacancies at present, the specifics of which are contained in the booklets provided.
