Consultation Process

Connecting Ireland proposes a series of new public transport routes and improvements to existing ones. We have developed these proposals together as part of an integrated plan for a better public transport network across the country. We want to get your views on the design principles that we have applied in our plans.

You can access the proposals and maps for all counties by clicking here. Once you have reviewed the proposals for your county, please give us your feedback through our survey, available in both English and Irish, by clicking here.

Your input is very important to us and will guide our implementation in 2022.

Public Webinars

As part of the Connecting Ireland public consultation, a series of webinars will be held in order to present our proposals in more detail to the public. The webinars will be presented by the Connecting Ireland team, and there will be an opportunity for questions to be submitted during the webinar, which will be answered at the end of the session. Please note that we will not be able to answer all questions submitted during this time – if your question is not answered, you can submit it to connectingireland@nationaltransport.ie.

The webinars will be recorded and transcribed for those hard of sight, and a sign language interpreter will be present for those hard of hearing on 15 November and 18 November.

You can register for one of our three webinars below. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
