The National Transport Authority (NTA)) announced that, from Thursday, 19 March, the services currently operating as Bus Éireann Routes 447 and 448 will transition to the TFI Local Link network.
Transitioning to TFI Local Link Longford Westmeath Roscommon
These services will be managed by TFI Local Link Longford Westmeath Roscommon and will operate under new route numbers WH47 and WH48. Both routes will retain their existing alignment and timetable, ensuring seamless continuity for passengers.
New revised Route WH47 and WH48
Under the revised arrangement, Route WH47 will operate between Finea and Mullingar via Castlepollard, serving all current stops. Route WH48 will replace the former Route 448 and will run from Shandonagh to Mullingar via Ballynacargy.
