NTA wishes to appoint a new Independent Member to the committee

The National Transport Authority (the “NTA”)  is inviting applicants to be a Member of the Audit and Risk Committee of the National Transport Authority.

The Audit and Risk Committee of the National Transport Authority

The Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) supports the Board with its responsibilities for its oversight of financial management, of risk management, internal control, internal audit, external audit and governance. The Audit and Risk Committee reviews the comprehensiveness of assurances in meeting the Board’s and Accounting Officer’s assurance needs and reviewing the reliability and integrity of these assurances.

Members

The Audit and Risk Committee currently consists of four members: three independent non-executive members (with one acting as Committee Chair) and one external independent member.

This appointment will bring the Audit and Risk Committee membership up to five members.

The Audit and Risk Committee normally meet six times annually with additional meetings convened as circumstances require.
