The Transport Technology directorate is responsible for the technology solutions used to support and manage all public transport services, for which the NTA is responsible, within the State.
Our aim is to ensure that the NTA’s technology vision and strategy are modern, efficient, fit for purpose, and represent value for money. A core objective of the directorate is to significantly improve integration on all modes of transport. To achieve this we work collaboratively with service providers and transport operators.
Our key goal in the design and delivery of all technology is to provide the most reliable and accessible customer experience to all public transport users.
Transport Technology manages public transport technology solutions across three principal areas:
1. Integrated Ticketing Systems;
2. Travel Information Services; and
3. Transport Management Systems.
