All Teams that log their journeys every week are entered into the Weekly Lottery prize draw. So whether you’re leading the pack or just getting started, your kilometers count.
Keep the momentum going and slide your way into the prize pool each week!
Couch to 15km : Cycle Your Way In! (11th – 29th May)
Dust off the bike, pump up the tyres or hire a bike and get ready to roll! Couch to 15km is a fun, feel‑good cycling challenge designed to get you back in the saddle with no racing legs required.
Aimed at beginner cyclists, this friendly competition focuses on building confidence, forming new habits, and enjoying the simple joy of cycling. Running over the three weeks (11th-29th May) of the Ready, Set, Cycle Challenge, this beginner competition encourages short, achievable rides that fit easily into daily life perfect for anyone starting out or returning to cycling after a break.
Complete 15km, big or small over the three-week period. That might be a commute to work or campus, spin to the shops, a lunchtime loop, or a leisurely weekend wobble. If it’s done by bike, it counts! This challenge is all about progress, not pace. Start slow, build confidence, and enjoy the fresh air, freedom, and fizz that comes with cycling. Whether you’re a total newbie, a fair‑weather rider, or just reacquainting yourself with your handlebars, you’re very welcome here. Log your journeys, share a smile with fellow cyclists and celebrate every pedal stroke from “maybe tomorrow” to “wow, I did 15 kilometers!” Complete the challenge to be in with a chance of winning prizes and to rediscover just how joyful cycling can be.
So hop on, spin out, and let the journey begin. From couch… to bike… to brilliant.
