Compliance officers recorded 830 formal checks of small public service vehicles during the month and, as a result of their work, detected eleven individuals operating without valid SPSV licences; five in Dublin, three in Wexford, two in Cork and one in Kerry. A total of 55 Fixed Payment Notices were issued to licence holders during the month.
Complaints in June 2015
A total of 70 complaints were received during June 2015. The majority of these complaints related to behaviour of drivers.
Prosecutions in June 2015
In June, the Authority prosecuted 23 cases at District Courts around the country. Eighteen cases were successful, three matters were withdrawn and two cases were adjourned to a later date.
