An allocation of €50 million was secured by Minister Catherine Martin T.D in Budget 2022 for a programme of funding aimed at supporting strategic tourism businesses through the Covid-19 pandemic and driving recovery thereafter.
As part of this programme, Fáilte Ireland has today launched the Strategic Tourism Transport Business Continuity Scheme, which is aimed at eligible tourism transport operators such as vehicle rental companies, coach tourism operators, chauffeur and limousine businesses and private escorted tour providers.
