Sustainable Transport NTA Market Engagement
The 2021-2030 National Development Plan sets out an ambitious plan to invest €165 billion in Ireland’s infrastructure.
A capital investment of €35 billion is allocated for transport to enhance public transport, active travel and connectivity of communities, making it the largest commitment to the sector in the country’s history.
To deliver these critical transport infrastructure projects and programmes, a significant increase in the capacity of transport operators, local authorities, contractors, engineering consultants, suppliers, and the NTA itself is required.
