The NTA carries out a Household Travel Survey every year / annually as Action 69, Goal 8 of the government of Ireland’s Sustainable Mobility Policy Action Plan 2022 – 2025, to support the development of its Regional Models. Since 2023 this has been an annual survey. The survey is designed to provide a comprehensive picture of the daily travel patterns of Irish residents.
